Operation "Kmetija ni hotel" is a joint operation of the entire area of the MDD LAG, which will be implemented by the MDD LAG, whose lead partner is the Municipality of Slovenj Gradec. After the project was approved by the MDD LAG assembly, at the proposal of the MDD LAG Board, it was sent for final approval to the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Agricultural Markets and Rural Development, which issued a Decision on the right to funds on 7 December 2020, confirming the co-financing of the project in the amount of €17,236.30. Non-refundable co-financed funds will be provided from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The managing authority responsible for implementing assistance from the EAFRD is the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food (MAGF).

Purpose and activities of the project:

The purpose of the project is to increase the skills and knowledge of the rural population in the area of LAS MDD, to increase their career opportunities - self-employment on the farm, to reduce unemployment in rural areas and to maintain the settlement of rural areas in the border area of the upper Drava Valley. The project aims to offer supplementary activity holders and their family members the necessary knowledge and support to improve the quality of products that are already produced on registered farms with supplementary activities, and to encourage the registration of new activities with newly acquired knowledge.
