Workshop "Development of cycling connections and products of the future"

The event presented good practices of cycling products from neighboring Austria (Paco Wrolich, Kärnten Werbung), support for cycling products in Slovenia (Doris Urbančič Windisch, Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, Directorate for Tourism), investments in the construction of a cycling network and interregional connections (Jernej Pavlin, Ministry of Infrastructure, Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Infrastructure), and the importance of connecting regions in the joint development of cycling projects and implementation of promotion (Uroš Rozman, RRA Koroška).

A special emphasis of the workshop was on the presentation and discussion of the conceptual concept of the new cross-border project, the "DraMur" cycling route, with the active participation of representatives of municipalities, development agencies, regional mobility centers and local tourist organizations from the Koroška and Podravje regions.

The implementation of the event was made possible by a contract on co-financing the work and tasks of the contractor in the role of regional partner from technical assistance funds from the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development.
