The MPIK4 Ravne office incubator has opened.

On October 12th, we celebrated the opening of the new office incubator MPIK4 Ravne in Ravne. It is located in the city center at Prežihova ulica 7 (in a building that many people probably know as the former SDK building). We are truly happy and proud! ?

The EUR 1.1 million investment in the renovation and development of MPIK4 Ravne was carried out by the Municipality of Ravne na Koroškem, which also owns the building, while RRA Koroška is taking over the content management. 21 offices with a total area of ​​approx. 400 m2 will, similar to other locations MPIK, primarily be intended for companies that are no older than 2 years at the time of entry. At the same time, they develop, produce and market innovative products or services.

The mayor of the municipality Ravne na Koroškem Dr. Tomaž Rožen said on this occasion: "Our community is full of talented individuals, creative minds and ambitious entrepreneurs who deserve support to make their ideas come true."

Head of MPIK Jure Knez said: "The municipality of Ravne na Koroškem is an example of good practice when it comes to premises with affordable rents for young businesses. We believe in the continued successful cooperation of the municipality and RRA Koroška in promoting entrepreneurship in the municipality and the wider Carinthia region!"

In total, at all MPIK locations in the municipalities of Ravne na Koroškem, Radlje ob Dravi and Slovenj Gradec, there is currently approximately 4000 m2 of space available for incubation purposes. In total, this represents 72 spaces, of which 53 are office spaces and 19 are production spaces. All production spaces are currently occupied, as are all existing office spaces, except for the aforementioned new space in Ravne, for which applications can already be submitted.
