Portal SPOT celebrates its 20th anniversary
On this day, July 4, 2005, the e-VEM portal went live, uniting and digitizing the procedures for registering and establishing a sole proprietorship in one place. This turning point marked the beginning of a successful digitalization story that, through further development, has significantly contributed to simplifying the transactions of entrepreneurs and other business entities with the state and its institutions.
The e-VEM portal, today known as the SPOT – Slovenian Business Point portal, has become an indispensable tool in the everyday business of entrepreneurs. Accountants, HR and financial departments also encounter it on a daily basis, as they handle numerous procedures for companies and other business entities. Through the SPOT portal , procedures can also be handled at physical points SPOT, at notaries, in courts and at other competent institutions.

The SPOT portal, with its online and physical services, represents one of the key projects promoting and supporting entrepreneurship in the Republic of Slovenia. For more than two decades, SPOT has been proving that the state can become a partner for business entities.
