Approved projects for the implementation of the LAG Local Development Strategy Kozjak-Pohorje

The following projects are eligible for co-financing by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Republic of Slovenia:

1. Innovative solutions in beekeeping – ČEBINOV (value: EUR 63,026.68)
2. Ožbalt Generations Meeting Point (value: EUR 72,284.28)
3. Culinary Education Center Kapla (value: EUR 29,982.39)
4. School beekeeping classroom (value: EUR 6,528.00)
5. Expansion of organic baking and workshops for a healthy future (value: EUR 102,351.24)
6. Locally Delicious 24/7 – Local Produce Vending Machine (Value: EUR 28,158.72)

Approved projects contribute to the key objectives of the LAG Strategy Kozjak-Pohorje , including:

• promoting local entrepreneurship and sustainable development,
• improving the quality of life and social inclusion in rural areas,
• preserving cultural and natural heritage,
• introducing innovative solutions for the local community.

Beneficiaries are already actively implementing project activities in various areas – from intergenerational hubs, culinary education centers and beekeeping training spaces to local infrastructure improvements and innovative opportunities for micro-enterprises .

Two new public calls for support for projects from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) are planned for 2026, with which the LAG Kozjak-Pohorje will continue to support the sustainable development of local rural areas .
