At MPIK-u we are proud that the innovation AInstructor83 , developed by our incubator SIM 83 – Driving Simulators, Miha Kadiš sp , received the silver award from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the best innovations in the Koroške region in 2026.

The awards were presented by the GZS – Koroška Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Slovenj Gradec on May 28, 2026, as part of the 26th call for the best innovations in the region. This year, 22 innovation proposals were submitted to the call, with more than 135 innovators participating. The expert committee awarded 7 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze awards.

Miha Kadiš, founder of SIM 83 – Driving Simulators, also received a silver award for his innovation AInstructor83, an advanced AI mentor for driving simulators.

AInstructor83 uses computer vision to monitor and analyze the candidate's behavior in real time while driving in the simulator. The system checks the correct driver posture, steering wheel grip, and mirror orientation, and provides immediate feedback while driving. After completing the training, it prepares a comprehensive assessment, supported by events from the simulation, such as violations, response times, and other important situations.

The solution represents an important step in the digitalization of driver training, as it enables a more efficient learning process, reduces instruction costs, and encourages the development of safe driving habits. It places special emphasis on correct driving techniques and objective monitoring of candidates' progress.

This year's awards ceremony took place at the Secrets of Comfort furniture salon in Slovenj Gradec, where the organizers, together with the host companies KO-SI, KO-SC and Purotehnika, created an innovative environment for the presentation of the best regional achievements in the field of innovation.

We sincerely congratulate Miha Kadiš on this success. Such recognition confirms that solutions with high added value are being created within MPIK, which contribute to economic development, technological progress, and greater traffic safety.
